He is learning all the time and getting better with each trip, kept him off the piss this time, he was driving   . Believe he got a nice one the other day as well
He was very keen to pinch my lure at one stage (bassman mumbler) but was wrapped to see a couple of nice fish as well as get a few crays as well as him getting snagged and putting down the trusty MM lure retriever and pulling up TWO lures

BTW for what its worth I think Mulwala in June is probably a cert for next years trip

Just thinking of a double wammy here, there were a few who wanted to put in a cray net at Wentworth and although cray season, these days hardly any frosts.

Secondly, We would have the lake preety much to ourselves (saw two other fisho's all day last Sun 7am to 4.45pm) and winter cod fishing is generally pretty good.

Open to suggestions but "fine" weather in April and May will see wake boats and a squillion others.

I will start a thread soon

Hey Curado it a Magellan, have mapped some of the lake and a couple of mates took it up there in the draw down and plotted some points for me. Just havn't had enough time on the lake to really give it a fair crack.

If it was a Garmin I might of been able to help you out with a map of the channels of the lake.
Just no waypoints.

Spent the day (think is was day, fog from 7.30am until 2pm) at Mulwala yesterday.

Pretty hard going, bugger all crays, 33 for TWO keepers. Could not believe what I was hearing at one stage, couldn't see 10 feet in front of you and I could have sworn I could hear a speed boat.

Well stuff me, out of the mire, a bloody speed boat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A hand full of others craying but overall pretty quiet on the lake.
