Re: a little info if your interested. The one shown in the early posts is a simple idea and no working parts
Agers ago I showed the one at Tallowa Dam in Kangaroo valley, it has too many toy bits on it and is even broken down or sometimes turned off Thats why we leave it to the EXPERTS Mallee P.S: Laddy- good to hear from you again and as always the input is at it bests.
Re: a little info if your interested. The fish ladder at the low weir below Balranald was full off dead slimmers.
Looked like the river needed 3-4 more feet to make it work.
Re: a little info if your interested.28cm Head on them! Unreal!
Great read, does anyone know if this sort of info about what travels through the ladders gets recorded and put on fisheries website? Will check out the link Jules popped up. CENTRAL VIC LURE CASTERS SUPER SERIES 09/10
Re: a little info if your interested.certainly does jarboy but not sure if they are published online, fisheries have eletronic tracking stations installed at many of these fish ladders to collect stats on fish movement, they do this by inserting electronic tags in some fish when electrofishing with each tag obviously having a unique id that picks up the fish as they move through.

Re: a little info if your interested.would love to be able to look at all the stats online but then if they did that i guess they would be making the areas reported and fish a little vunerable!
