on monday morning, my companion of 15 years passed away. she held on until morning and i spent her last 1/2 hour together. that was the type of dog she was, would always be trying to please. there were plenty of trips we shared, but all i can say is i'll miss her heaps,

Almost bought a tear to my eye when I read this post Mick, it's bloody tough when they go, when my last dog of 16 years went I was gutted for months, the current 1 is 10 yo & we were only saying the other day that we aren't looking forward to when that day comes around again. Sorry to hear about Kelly mate.

Condolences Mick, she was a fine looking hound and im sure she was a great companion, i have a similar GSHP with a few miles on the clock and not looking foward to that day.

Bloody terrible news Mick, im truely sorry to hear it.
My old girl is 15 years old now, and no matter how much i try and prepare myself for it, when she goes its gonna kill me, i love her to death. She is still going quite strongly for now though, although she is showing her age.
