Having fished Balranald a heap of times now, I'm still yet to come up with a reason why it is so bloody hot and cold.Got enough Yellas for a meal on good Friday but cod were hard to come by.

Not so CARP.

The other boat was mainly baitfishing and managed a dozen in various sizes for an arvos fishing. I haven't seen it like that for 5 or 6 years.

A low came thru on Sunday which resulted in 9 hours casting for one Yella (Jeremy) on dark.

Good trip once again and there is still a couple out there with my name on em.

Good shots their mate
We use to do a lot fishing below Lake Cargelligo on the Lachlin, miss those trips as most of us have moved away.

Mate told me that below Euabalong the river is so low the stock keep going across the river and he has to keep going and getting them back.

Where abouts on the Lachlin did you go to?

Yeh Mallee,

Most Easter long weekends you will find us fishing along the Lachlan some where this spot is on private prop
between Eugowra & Goolagong when the rivers running half bankers she one of the best spots
but we havnt seen that for about 10 years or so  :(

We also go out to Euabalong West way when conditions are good ??.

Cheers Rob.
