66cm pale specimen that fell to a timber hammerhead

Found this slightly larger specimen of the same sunken timber last season, they seem to cue up in this prime location

Would I be far off the mark if I said that looks like you were fishing at the end of the Barmah choke??

Codmac - How big was your fish? The net makes the fish look small! You can can see it would be a great holding net until you had everything ready for a quick pic then release. Those "mega nets" are certainly a must have tool for the serious cod fisho.

i like the pic rod. most of us would be in too much of a hurry to get it into the boat to think of an angle like that. good stuff. :thumbup:

Its a big net and a great tool for landing big fish :thumbup: Plenty of room so they can swim about calm until you are ready to bring them on board for a happy snap.

Codzilla does it again, what was length on it Rod, i'd say around 110cm-115cm?

I can't stop the yellas from smashing the codzillas long enough to get to the cod. But i did see 2 meter plus fish caught this week on the green model :shh: Nice pic codmac
